Story of 2Badda
Born and raised in south London, award winning recording artist 2 Badda developed his craft as an M.C. being influenced by Artist's such as Biggie Smalls, Nas, Buju Banton and Damien Marley.
He has taken the nation by storm with his influential and provocative lyrical content.
With releases such as 'The Awakening' and 'One Voice'. This led to him being approached by Sky Arts to perform on their latest spoken word show 'Life n Rhymes' presented by Benjamin Zephaniah. The show went on to achieve great success winning a Bafta at the 2021 awards.
His motivation derives from his life in London, his Jamaican roots, and the controversial issues that occur in his surrounding society.
He is currently best known for his freestyles, many of which went viral throughout and since the covid Pandemic. These include the 'George Floyd' freestyle, the 'Paulette Wilson' tribute and most recently his 'Covid-19' freestyles.
Since June 2020 he has gone viral multiple times, weekly in some months with his hard hitting unfiltered voice on current topics and inequalities.
Apart from his music 2 Badda has an active presence in the community. He has founded his charity ' The Badda Trust ' which facilitates Saturday Schools that provide young people with education, training and employment opportunities.
2 Badda recently won an award for “Social Media Influencer Excellence” at the prestigious Charles Gordon Trust Awards Ceremony in Fairfield Halls Croydon which is testament to the ethos behind his lyrical content and mission of educating through music.
His powerful visuals and direct delivery highlights 2 Badda as one of the most evolving and talked about artists in 2023.
2 Badda is set to drop a new EP in March 2024 which will include the recently released single “Any Weather” as well as “Talk up the Teaching”
